If you have sensitive skin, you might have a very hard time wearing deodorants and antiperspirants. Chances are, if you pay attention to the labels of the products you’re purchasing, it’s the antiperspirant that give you all the problems and not the deodorant. Most people who have sensitive underarms have trouble with antiperspirants because of the ingredients they contain.

If you’ve tried a variety of deodorants and antiperspirants and you’re still having problems, then you might want to switch to natural products that don’t contain the harsh chemicals most commercial products do. Most deodorants contain ingredients like parabens and ethylene glycol which is the main ingredient in antifreeze. You could be sensitive to any number of these chemicals so try something that’s completely natural and that contains soothing aloe, vitamins and oils designed to soothe your skin. Watch out for natural minerals and rocks that can be rubbed on the armpits because these usually contain aluminum to control sweat. You will probably be better off if you find yourself a deodorant without aluminum to use.
