Learning how to sleep better is something that can take many different forms. Of course, making your bedroom comfortable and peaceful is important. Following a nighttime routine can also help. But there are certain things you can do that fall into the realm of self hypnosis and meditation that can also make a huge difference in your quality of sleep.

Decide to experience all the feelings in your big toe and picture your toes relaxing and all the tension leaving the muscle. Spread that feeling to the rest of your toes, on up your feet and your legs to your torso, and up into your chest, out your arms and hands and to the very top of your head. Go as slow as you need to go, usually the slower the better, and soon you should discover that long before you reach your head you’ve already fallen asleep. Practice this each night and see if this doesn’t work to help you sleep better.
